I recently flew to Utah from Illinois to visit my friends and build them a new computer. While building the new computer, I realized I was missing the fan screws for AIO liquid cooler and was unable to complete the build. I quickly searched for local computer shops and found Rios Computer Design.They were extremely friendly and very helpful! Ramon went out of his way to help me complete my build. Even though they didn't sell the specific screws I needed for my build, Ramon took the screws off his own AIO liquid cooler from his personal computer so I could complete my build! I was able to complete the build before flying back to Illinois and my friends have a new freshly built PC thanks to Ramon. They saved the day!I highly recommend RCD. It's a great shop run by great people!

Ramon is awesome! He is never pushy and is always there to help with anything you need. You being satisfied with the service is his number one priority and you can definitely tell. He is very polite and professional and just overall a great guy who makes quality repairs and machines. If you have any doubts at all, don't. I was very pleased to find this place. Due to Amazon and other online retailers gone are the glory days of local computer parts stores. Sometimes you just need that random SATA cable, like I did, and you need it now. When you find yourself in need of that random pc hardware look no further than Rios Computer Designs! I am thrilled that this shop is trying to maintain a lost, and coveted, parts shop.

I accidentally walked into the store one day looking for a laptop started talking to him a little bit and found out this place is a great place with a great owner. My home computer started having problems I knew exactly where to take it so I took it to Rios Computers He suggested that I put a solid-state drive in my old computer I took his suggestion boy am I ever glad I did man my computer is the fastest it’s ever been even when it was first brand new. I started having speaker issues with the same computer I took it into him he looked at it diagnosed it told me what I needed to do free of charge I took a suggestion and it’s awesome if you’re looking for a great place for computer work or to even buy a computer look no further than Rios computer . They are honest reliable and always there you can even call him and he will spend time on the phone with you to help you with your computer problems they are awesome .

Ramon was very helpful. I dropped my cup of coffee upon the keyboard of a laptop and my screen turns totally black out. He helped me to put my screen back to normal. I am very satisfied with his work.

I didn't have any money for anything at my last visit, but the owner was very helpful with information on what I was asking about. I recommend this place for honesty and good prices. I'm going to back and buy as much as I can afford, on my next visit!

Came in, had some trouble turning on my computer that I assembled myself. He took it apart, cleaned it, replaced the thermal paste. Answered all my questions and fixed all the little problems with it that I had. It cost more then I was hoping but about what I expected. Overall I am really happy with the service and plan to go here every time I have a problem

One of the best service experiences I have ever had. The guy was very helpful with my system diagnosis I couldn't have done on my own. He tried everything to make sure he truly narrowed down the issue and then quickly notified me. Gave me what he could do and advised me a bit at what the best options. Through the process he was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to about computers. Thanks for the help I will be going here for my diagnostic help.

Unlike most places you can take your computer to, Rios Computer Designs actually has the intent to help you, rather than harm. Ramon got back to me promptly, and continued to chat with me on the website to address my concerns before I even brought my laptop in to him. The store was very clean and organized, and when meeting in person, Ramon was friendly and helpful. Now believe me, I am not a tech savvy person in the least; but he took the time to really explain everything to me in a way that I could understand. I definitely know where I'm going with any and all computer problems in the future. In short, Rios Computer designs is superb.

Ramon was able to bring my PC back from the blue screen of death and to salvage all of my data. He cleaned out my computer so it looks new both inside and out. He also installed a solid state hard drive which makes windows fly! I would highly recommend his services.

Ramon fixed my Macbook Air for less than half the price I was quoted by anyone else and did a fantastic job! He was very good at explaining to me the problem and showed me the different parts that were damaged inside so I could understand what needed to be repaired. In the meanwhile he was kind enough to answer lots of computer questions I had both related and unrelated to the immediate problem. He also squeezed the repair into his schedule so I could have my computer back the same day. I would recommend Rios Computer Designs for any electronics you need fixed. Thanks!

You will not be disappointed for coming here! After going to another 5-star-rated computer repair shop and receiving mediocre service, I was hesitant...but Ramon's service and professionalism blew me away. I came kind of close to closing, but he stayed a half hour late just to diagnose my computer and call me to let me know what was wrong! Then he gave an estimate on price and time of arrival for the part and said he would call me. He called me a day earlier than planned to let me know the computer was already fixed! My Wifi card had to be replaced, but some of the wires had also been damaged. Ramon explained to me what was damaged, showed me how it weakened my network connection, and even opened up the computer to literally show me what he was talking about. He told me about the cost and risks of fixing the wires and suggested a possible alternative option he could provide that would be cheaper and much less of a risk. My network problems are now fixed, and I will coming back if I ever have a problem again!

Excellent customer service! Ramon took time at the end of his busy day to help me with my USB flash drive. He spent an hour with me and answered all of my questions. He’s a super nice guy and very friendly. I will recommend him to all my friends. I will return for all my computer needs.

Thought i'd gamble on a new place with good reviews, and it totally paid off. I was sick of having to deal with companies trying to sell me things i didn't need, or turn me around to other places. But this shop exceeded my expectations. He looked at the laptop, listened to my problems, and told me what he wanted to do and what i should expect. He was super polite and professional. He even apologized that i had to wait a few more days for an extra part to come in. Didn't bother me at all. :) Thank you so much!!

Our computer just died one morning. It was awful. I had our whole lives on there, and stupidly, I hadn't been making a habit of backing things up. We took our Mac to the nearest computer repair place and learned pretty quickly what a mistake it is to choose convenience over quality. After three weeks they told us they couldn't recover anything. The hard drive was just too damaged. I cried. And then, I thought, I'd take a stab in the dark and try this little store an hour away that had fantastic reviews. I dropped off the damaged hard drive on a Friday evening, and Ramon had it recovered ALL my photos, videos, and documents by Saturday afternoon. I seriously almost kissed him. And I would have paid 5x what he charged. Excellent service for a great price. I'm sending everyone I know there.

My computer died overnight due to a power outage and a surge I guess. Most likely under warranty. I went to Best Buy as that is where I got the computer. They were not helpful and said the best they could do would be to send it to the manufacturer for diagnostics. I would be out of a computer for at least 10 days.I found a lot of great reviews for Rios Computer Designs, so I went there after to see what he could do. Same story. Send the machine to the manufacturer. However, Ramos was so helpful, very informative and we actually walked out of the store with a comparable computer to our one that just died, for half the cost. Plus, if we find out the our broken machine isn't covered under warranty, he will be taking the hardware out of that one that we can use and put it into the one that we just bought from him.We will be using Rios from here on out for our computer needs. Prices are comparable to a company I used years ago that came to your home and fixed computers. Thanks Ramos!read more
